Senior Linux System Administrator Job Opening

Roles & Responsibilities

• Own and manage Linux-based infrastructure (RHEL, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux).
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
• Architect and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement observability using Prometheus, Grafana (metrics, logs, alerting).
• Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance (SLOs, SLAs).
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems.
• Enforce security best practices, patching, and compliance.
• Configure networking components (DNS, VPNs, load balancers).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Linux system administration experience.
• Strong experience with CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (production environments preferred).
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python).
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong debugging skills in distributed systems.
• Ownership mindset with a focus on reliability and automation.
• Ability to work in high-pressure production environments.
• Clear communication and documentation skills.

Good To Have

• Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD).
• Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd).
• Familiarity with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
• Experience with high-scale distributed systems.
